Fishing is the process of using fishing tackle on water tiles to obtain fish, which can then either be filleted into sashimi or displayed in an aquarium or good aquarium.
However, fishing and fishing stuff are not available on console versions.

Efficiency[]
Each fishing tool has a different base catch rate which determines the chance of successfully catching a fish, and can be improved by applying bait (obtained by using nets in shallow water) to the tool beforehand, either directly or from storage.
