A Henhouse is a structure used to farm chooks. If you have a henhouse in an enclosure with chooks, they will walk into the henhouse to lay eggs instead of laying them randomly on the ground. A henhouse can also be used to hatch new chooks. Add 10 cereal seeds and 2 chooks to the henhouse and you will get 1 new chook (plus the 2 you put in).
