Research is a feature added in Version 14 'Momo'. With it, you can research items to unlock new things. As of yet, there is only two things you can research: Bash and Stir.
How to research
Edit
As of version 14, you can research Bash to unlock the String Maker, enabling the production of string:
- Build a Bash Research Station
- Use a shovel on Weeds to get Weeds (dug)
- Feed the dug weeds to the Bash Research Station
- Repeat steps 2 and 3 until the research is finished (approximately 10 weeds)
As of version 19, you can research Stir to unlock the Crude Mortar Mixer, enabling the production of mortar:
- Build a Stir Research Station
- Use a bucket on a sand tile to get Sand
- Feed the sand to the Stir Research Station
- Repeat step 2 and 3 until the research is finished (approximately 20 buckets of sand)
After the research is complete, the unlocked building can be found in the Misc category in Edit Mode.
